About

Life takes us down many differing roads. And aspirations, as a youngster, fester in a fertile creative mind, and if you’re lucky, turn from dreams to reality. Journalist, rock star, professional writer, some vocational enterprise that would change the world – all things seem possible. Well, reality sucks sometimes, and I became an accountant. But I never lost the dream to be a writer even when real life and family stemmed its natural flow.

So, you might ask, what actually changed? Well, to be brutally honest nothing changed. That little seed that took root in those early teenage years when I was delving into a million books filled with science fiction adventures and tales of gothic horror just grew and grew, creating with it, an urge to tell stories. Tales of my own making; words plucked from, and strung together by, my silly creative head, drawing on everything I loved about fiction; pulled into an imagination fuelled by fear and sensationalism; by ghosts and demon beings, and creatures that crawl out of the dark. We love to be scared, and we love to be exposed to a world of dread and shock whilst in the comfort and security of our own homes. But what if the windows are left open and something insidious crawls inside? What is it that lurks in the darkness when we sleep, looking for retribution for past misdemeanours? Do we know? Do we really care? You bet we do! Curiosity always prevails.

So, I became an accountant? I sure did. BUT, I continued to write; continued to tirelessly tap away at the keyboard during any and every single piece of free time that I could find. And of course, I did what any aspiring writer does: I contacted agents and publishers, but alas, it wasn’t to be my time. Which is why I decided to create my own website. And fill it will all the new things I still create whenever I can still find those elusive free moments. I have short stories a plenty. And novels too. It will be a veritable feast of the aforementioned tales of my own making. Tales of horror, tales of mystery. Tales of suspense and wonder. Tales so terrifying that I post them with extreme caution and trepidation. Please enjoy them with my compliments. And if you have any thoughts, don’t hesitate to get in touch and let me know what they are.

Thanks for reading.
