Hi, I am Jonathan Peach, a writer of ghost and horror stories and this is a platform of my work.

I was born in Yorkshire, England and remain there, in a small market town near the Yorkshire Dales, which provides the backdrop to many of the stories I write.

Married, with three grown up children and retired from full-time work, I spend what free time I have writing about the things I fear the most. Evil people and demons, ghosts that haunt in the day and in the darkness of night, are themes that run through many of these stories.

At present, I have almost completed a new novel, tentatively titled ‘Moorland Cross,’ which is an expansion of ‘The Waiting Room’ short story on this site. A ghost story of disaster, tragedy and love set in the 1970’s after the historical destruction of our heritage steam railway system, where raging spirits demand historical wrongs have to be put right, or there will be disastrous consequences.
